- What if I'm not sure how much data my company actually has?
- Most owners aren't, going in. That's what the first call is for -- we ask about the systems you use and roughly how long you've used them, and get to a rough estimate together. You don't need an exact figure to start the conversation.
- Does my industry have to match the list exactly?
- It's a real guide, not a strict filter -- the underlying question is whether your business generates the kind of operational record (communications, transactions, day-to-day decisions) that these industries typically produce. If you're unsure, the short call answers it faster than guessing.
- What if my company has fewer than 20 employees?
- The 20-or-more figure reflects roughly how much operating history and data volume tends to exist at that size, not a hard cutoff. If you have an unusually data-rich operation at a smaller headcount, it's still worth a conversation.
- Why is software specifically excluded?
- AI labs already have extensive software and code data. What's scarce, and what makes this category valuable, is a record of how a non-software business actually operates day to day -- the communications, decisions, and operating records that don't exist anywhere on the open web.
- What about healthcare or legal businesses?
- Those two aren't included yet. The compliance work around protected health information and privileged communications isn't finished on our end, so we're not taking on either vertical right now. That could change -- reach out and we'll tell you honestly where things stand.
- What if I don't qualify today?
- Then we'll tell you that directly on the call, not string you along. Criteria like company age and data volume change -- there's no penalty in checking back later if your business grows into it.
