Best plumbing websites: 7 examples, 406 sites checked

Someone with water on the floor isn't browsing. They open a plumber's site on a phone, usually with one wet hand, and want to know three things fast: can this company come today, how do I reach them, and are they any good.

7 real plumbing websites, and what to copy from each

Most lists of plumbing websites judge how a site looks on a desktop. A plumbing customer is usually on a phone, so we read these seven at phone size on November 5, 2026 and wrote down what a customer finds. We picked them because each does something specific worth copying, so this is a set of examples, not a ranking. None of them are Nova Solutions sites, and none asked to be listed. Sites change, so check the live page before you copy anything.

  • MNS Plumbing: the top bar holds the phone number and Schedule Online, and the headline says same-day and names the town it serves. The photo is two people in front of a company van, not a stock plumber.
  • Aloha Plumbing: the logo and colors are hard to mistake for anyone else's, and a green Book Online button sits at the bottom of the first screen. A customer who calls back two days later remembers which plumber this was.
  • Jimmy Joe's Plumbing: Fast Quote and the phone number sit side by side over a photo of the crew, so the visitor chooses how to reach them in one look. Further down, the Arizona license number and the Google rating sit together.
  • Chambliss Plumbing: the review count is in the headline itself, along with “Since 1991”. A bar at the bottom of the screen keeps the phone number and Schedule Appt. under the thumb.
  • Aspen Mountain Plumbing: the rating and review count sit right under the team photo, above the button, and each Wyoming town it serves has its own page. It covers a lot of ground and shows it.
  • Half Moon: the review count is in the very top bar and a text option appears next to Call Now and Book Online. That gives a customer who can't talk right now a way in.
  • Residential Plumbing: a bar across the bottom of the screen holds just two choices, Call and Book Appointment. Nothing else competes with them.

Nova Solutions builds plumbing websites: a five-page, mobile-first site is $600 plus $149 a month. Booking automation and review requests start at $1,297 plus $249 a month, and service-area pages at $1,997 plus $349 a month.

What 406 plumbing websites actually have

In October 2026 we loaded the homepages of 2,137 US contractors on a phone, 406 of them plumbing companies, and recorded what a customer could do and what each page said. Nearly every plumber has the call link and most claim 24/7 or emergency service. Far fewer give the customer another way in, or any proof on the page. Method and limits are in our contractor website study and what contractor homepages say.

Plumbing company homepages loaded as an iPhone, October 27 to 29, 2026 (406 loaded, 397 with readable text)
What the homepage hasPlumbing
A tap-to-call link coded in89%
An online booking tool19%
A chat widget or text option16%
Neither booking nor chat or text71%
24/7 or emergency service claimed63%
A license number shown37%
Financing mentioned35%
A free estimate or inspection offer31%
A star rating or review count in the text15%

Put two of those together: 63% of these sites claim 24/7 or emergency service, and 71% offer no way in except the phone or a form. A burst pipe at night doesn't wait for a form. If nobody answers, the customer calls the next name on the list.

What to copy first

  • Open your site on your own phone. If the number isn't tappable on the first screen, fix that before anything else.
  • Put your review count or rating where it shows without a click. Only 15% of plumbing homepages do, so it sets you apart cheaply.
  • Add your license number near the top. Only 37% of plumbing homepages show one.
  • Add one way in besides the phone, such as a booking link from the field software you already pay for. Housecall Pro's booking link is what MNS, Aloha and Residential Plumbing use.
  • Name your towns. A headline that says where you work tells the customer and Google the same thing, and a page for each town goes further. Do DIY builders hurt local SEO? has the numbers on how builders handle this.
