How much does a dental website cost?
Almost every answer to this question is published by a company that sells dental websites. This one separates the prices vendors publish from the ranges they estimate, with the date we read each one.

The short answer
A dental website costs whatever the builder or vendor charges, and very few publish it. A builder subscription costs tens of dollars a month. A dental-focused vendor starts in the low thousands. A custom agency build with ongoing SEO runs into five figures plus a monthly retainer.

What moves the number
- Treatment pages. Each treatment you want to be found for, from implants to emergency visits, is its own page, and somebody has to write it.
- Online booking. A contact form that emails the front desk is cheap. Booking that puts the appointment on the schedule and texts back a missed call costs more and is where the site starts to pay for itself.
- Ongoing SEO. Dentive and the White Glove Orthodontist quote both put it in the hundreds to thousands a month. Over two or three years it is often the larger cost.
- Leased or owned. A leased site with a monthly fee can be cheap to start and costly to leave. Check who owns the domain, the content and the site if you cancel.
- Patient information. Keep forms to contact details and a preferred time unless your compliance counsel has approved how clinical information is collected.
Where Nova fits
Nova Solutions builds dental practice websites at published prices: Starter at $600 setup plus $149 a month, Growth at $1,297 plus $249 with booking automation, missed-call text-back and review automation, and Pro at $1,997 plus $349. Each goes live in about seven days, and you own the site and the domain. The AI receptionist is $199 a month flat and answers after hours; what answering services charge practices is in Dental answering service cost, live and AI, and every tier is on the pricing page.

Questions this post answers
- How much does a dental website cost in 2026?
- Published prices start in the hundreds of dollars and estimates run past $20,000. Wowbix says its dental website design starts at $3,000 and Nova Solutions lists $600 setup plus $149 a month. The guides we read put a template site at $2,000 to $8,000 and a custom site at $3,500 to $30,000. Those ranges come from companies that sell dental websites.
- How much does dental website design cost?
- Design is usually quoted as part of the build rather than on its own. Dentive puts high-end agency sites at $6,000 to $25,000 and local designers at $2,500 to $10,000, and Wowbix puts a professional template customization at $2,000 to $8,000. Ask whether a quote includes the writing for each treatment page; that is often the larger cost.
- What is the best website builder for a dental office?
- There is no single best one. A general builder is cheapest and your team does the work. A dental-focused vendor knows the treatment pages, insurance information and new-patient forms a practice needs. A done-for-you service such as Nova builds the site and runs booking and missed-call text-back for a monthly fee. Choose on who writes the content and who keeps it current.
- How much does a dental website cost per month?
- Dentive puts website management at $89 to $300 a month and hosting at $15 to $100, and says leased dental websites often run around $450 a month. Nova is $149 a month for hosting and support, or $249 with booking automation and missed-call text-back.
- What should a dental website include?
- A page for each treatment you want to be found for, the insurance plans you accept, your hours and location, click-to-call on mobile, online booking, reviews, and a short new-patient form that asks for contact details and a preferred time.
- Does Nova collect patient health information on the site?
- No. Nova's forms and booking ask for contact details and a requested time, not clinical or insurance details, and Nova makes no HIPAA claim. If your practice wants online medical-history intake, use a tool your compliance counsel approves.
